Susan Fioretti
Susan is our instructor for Creative Movement.  Susan began teaching in New York in 1982.  She later taught in San Francisco, California and Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Her academic studies include child development and child psychology.  Susan has many performance credits including touring and the pilot for "Dance in America, a PBS series.  She's affectionately known as Ms. Susie.

Kate Roth
Kate is our instructor for Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theater.  She has trained in several dance schools including USC, EDGE Performing Arts Center, Pacific Ballet Academy and Marie Stinnett School of Dance.  Her dance training has prepared her as a professional performer and teacher.  Ms. Kate has danced professionally in numerous theater productions and dance shows:  The Music Man with the Starlight Musical Theatre; On the Town with the Foothill Music Theatre; Musical Theatre Review with USC Music Department; Divinely Inspired, The Walk, and Choices to name a few.  She holds a degree in Musical Theatre from USC Thornton School of Music.

 

Kristi Moniz
Kristi is our instructor for Hip Hop.  She has a Bachelors degree in Dance from California State University, Northridge.  She plans to return for her Masters degree in dance.  Kristi teaches a variety of dance styles all over the Los Angeles area.  She loves to work with children and teens.  Kristi is professionally trained in Hip Hop, Jazz, Salsa, Swing and Modern.  She is currently signed with the McDonald Selznick Dance Agency (MSA).  This agency is known for their talented choreographers such as Wade Robson, Dave Scott, and many more.  She has been on many professional hip hop teams such as Culture Shock Los Angeles, Way of Rhythm, Style, and the CSUN Hip Hop team.  Many of these teams are under her leadership.  She has high hopes of becoming a famous choreographer one day and opening her own studio.  The quote she lives by is, “Dance like no one’s watching, Sing like no one can hear you, Love like you never were hurt before and Live like it’s heaven here on earth.”

 

Carolina Guoyasamin
Carolina is our instructor for Ballet.  She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where she received her formal training in ballet at the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, from age 7 to 18.  At the age of 18 her family moved to the United States where she took scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theater and the Universal Ballet Academy.  She was a soloist in the San Diego City Ballet.  She currently teaches ballet throughout Southern California and with the Sue B. Dance Company.

 

Edouard Kouzmitch
Edouard is our instructor for Ballet.  He was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus.  He began to study ballet at the age of 10.  He graduated from the National Ballet School of Republic of Belarus.  He continued his ballet study at the University of Yoshka-Olah in Russia and also received his B.A. degree in teaching ballet.  He has danced and toured extensively with companies such as Belarusan State Theatre, National Ballet of Mexico and throughout the countries of former USSR, Europe, China, Mexico and Cuba.  Edouard currently teaches ballet throughout Southern California and with the Sue B. Dance Company.

 

Lukash Abrahamya
Lukash is our instructor for Modern Dance.  He began his career at The Ballet School of Zurich in Switzerland.  He has danced in Germany at Flensburg Ballet Company, Altenburg Gera Theatre, and Düsseldorf National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.  He has also danced at Nevada Ballet Theatre and Media City Ballet, U.S.A. and is currently a principal dancer for Inland Dance Theatre, U.S.A.  Lukash has performed as a principal dancer in many productions:  Nutcracker, The Snow Queen, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Othello to name just a few.

 

Desiree Allen
Desiree is our instructor for Hip Hop and Praise.  She is professionally trained in Jazz, Ballet, African, Hip Hop Lyrical, Modern, Praise Dance and Salsa.  She has been on many professional dance teams:  H.O.P.E.’s House Praise Team, Granada Hills High School, Culture Shock, Los Angeles, CSUN Hip Hop Team, CSUN Jazz Team and Souell Productions.  In additional, she has danced in many stage productions:  CSUN Annual Dance Show, YWCA Women’s Conference, Debbie Reynolds 2004 Showcase, Jamal CD Release Party, JamFest 2004, Carnival, and UCLA Fashion Show to name just a few.

 

Adrienne Bratton
Adrienne is our instructor for Ballroom Dance and Cardio Salsa.  She is professionally trained in Belly Dancing, Salsa, Tango, Cha Cha, Ballroom Dancing, and Cardio Salsa.  Adrienne has worked as a solo performing artist in Southern California since 1977.  She has performed in productions for television, as well as appearing as a ballroom dancer in Inspector Gadget, and guest appearances on The Donny and Marie Show and Howie Mandel's Show.  In addition, she has taught Cardio Salsa at The Athletic Garage and Pasadena Athletic Club.

 

Michael Sistrunk
Michael is our instructor for Ballet and Jazz.  He began his career at the School of Performing Arts in Montclair, New Jersey.  He received his formal training at Gallmans Newark Dance Theater, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, The University of the Arts, Philadanco, and Koresh Dance Center.  He received his BFA in Dance Education at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.  Michael has been teaching dance since 1988.  Most recently he has taught at California Dance Center and Centerstage Dance Theatre.  His goal is to provide the art of dance and dance education to the aspiring artist, dancer, dance enthusiast or recreational dancer, with the understanding of movement as a form of both self expression and self discipline.
